I am trying a new thing this week. A phone review of a beer. You all are welcome to do the same as soon as we set up the number for it.

Yes Obmagang is that good!
When the Belgian-owned Brewery Ommegang decided to put out a special beer called "Obamagang," the government stepped in to say "No way." The special single-batch brew was made to coincide with the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama. However, the feds at the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau said it is not permissible to use anyone's name or likeness for commercial purposes without their permission.

So, the brewery has re-named the beer "Inauguration Ale 2009", with a limited amount of kegs of being made available to select bars in Syracuse, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York. Ommegang will donate a percentage of sales to charities in the respective cities where the beer is sold.
"The [government] won't let us call the beer Obamagang on the keg label. So it will be known legally as 'Inauguration Ale 2009', but the tap handles will be more ... um ... direct," Ommegang said in a press statement. The style lies between a porter and stout, with a bit of Kriek and a touch of chocolate blended in.

Lots of Beer News and a New place for a great time!

Ok so I had a new beer it was Way Good!
Old Viscosity from Port Brewing.. Good stuff man
We went to a new place near us. The Taphouse and Grill.
Mark the owner was there and we got to talk to him. He is a very nice guy with lots of beer knowledge. 40 beers on tap that will rotate through out the year. Rafael (we think that is how he spells it) was the bartender. He was awesome. This place definately earns to big thumbs up from us! The food is way good! You get a chance to go I highly recomend it
